The soccer team of the National Office of Veterans, Former Military and Victims of War of Cameroon, known as "LA TEAM FOOT ONACAM" is now talked about in the big family of football lovers.

It is in the same spirit that all the footballers of the structure under the acclamations of their fan club, the time of a friendly match against the team of CERAMEC of Efoulan, marked the day of October 31, 2020 at the Sitracel stadium of Efoulan, in a suburb of the capital city.

Driven by the rage to win and the pleasure of sharing a common passion, it is with cleats on their feet and new look uniforms that the eleven foals of the General Manager have thrilled the stands under the leadership of their captain OLOA Timothy.

Indeed, the idea of creating a soccer team at ONACAM came from the need to promote within the structure, the physical development, health and socio-cultural balance of ONACAM staff as well as to facilitate the rapprochement and social cohesion; hence the prospects of multiplying such meetings to achieve these objectives.

ONACAM's FOOT TEAM has already played eight matches, including five victories, two draws and one defeat. It is composed of twenty-two (22) players, a Captain and two Vice-Captains, A/C SANGO ELAT and FULLER Albert.

The meeting of October 31, 2020 itself will remain engraved in the memories of TEAM FOOT ONACAM and all its supporters for having allowed the team to inaugurate its new equipment of green color tinged with night blue. Through these colors, the team is now moving towards stability, balance and health. From the uniform to the game strategy, THE FOOT TEAM shone brightly. Everything was harmonized like an orchestra performing on a stage in front of an amazed crowd. The 4-5-1 tactical scheme was very successful. From the defense to the attack through the midfield, the foals of LA TEAM FOOT gave everything by reassuring proudly in their different positions.

It is the same of the staff of animation and supervision which ensured on the stands, the moral and psychological support of the team; the whole crowned by a strong mobilization and animation of the fan club of the Office as well as numerous sympathizers.

The 1st half itself was quite difficult for the team of ONACAM which conceded 01 goal to the opponent. In the 2nd half, the galvanizing entry of MEZENE Fabrice, NSETH Fabrice and NJEM Yves came the game in favor of TEAM FOOT ONACAM which, with the boldness that we recognize, pierce the goals of the opponent team by scoring three (03) goals including two (02) signed MEZENE and one (01) of NJEM Yves. The score at the end of the game is 03 goals to 01 in favor of the TEAM FOOT ONACAM which has raised very high the colors of the structure but especially its ideals of "Fighter always proud of his person".

Beautiful days are coming and beautiful meetings are envisaged. The ONACAM soccer team does not intend to stop there immediately. Everything is being done to give it more platforms of activities so that it can shine and represent the structure with dignity on the playing fields.
